Top-down construction, spiraling techniques. The dark purple version was made with Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn, “Purple” while the light purple version was made with A Chick That Knitz, “Lilac” 100% superwash Merino, 218 yd/3.5 oz (199m/100g) per skein.

One skein of I Love This Yarn is enough to make one hat of any size, but if you get 100g skeins, you will need two to make sizes L and XL (and I played yarn chicken when I made the size M, so you may want to opt for a second skein for M also just in case).
